How to use it
Honest note: At these settings each page is rendered as an image. That produces large savings on scans and image-heavy PDFs, but selectable text becomes part of the image and will no longer be copyable or searchable. Keep your original PDF if you need searchable text.
- Choose 72 DPI for a quick email copy, 100 DPI for everyday sharing, or 150 DPI when small text must stay crisp.
- Lower JPEG quality shrinks the file further but softens fine detail.
- Always spot-check a dense page in the result before sending it.
